Imagine That!

3 ~ 4 years

Imagine That! takes you and your child on a musical journey of discovery and exploration......a journey limited only by the power of imagination. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your child's potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the preschooler's vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge.

The carefully structured curriculum incorporates the following features:

  • Balance, timing and awareness of space
  • Vocal development and singing
  • Musical concepts with creative movement
  • Drama, storytelling and instrument exploration
  • Pretend play
  • Literacy skills and language development
  • Focused listening skills

Benefits for Your Child and You:

  • Nurtures your child's imagination and creativity.
  • Creates a learning environment that integrates music, expressive language, peer interaction and pretend play.
  • Challenges your child through activities that promote problem-solving, making choices and expressing ideas.
  • Allows your child to have an active role in the development of music and movement activities.

Since the emphasis is on imagination, exploration and individuality, you can be sure that no two classes are ever the same: activities grow and change depending upon the children's dynamic participation and enthusiasm.

Imagine That! Program Structure

At Home Materials include a CD, Family Activity Book, "Grasshopper Park" game board, plastic and metal slide whistle instrument.
