Meggie Hu M.Ed., B.Mus., BCRMTA
Meggie Hu holds a Master's degree in Music Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Music Education and a Bachelor's degree in Music (Piano) from the University of British Columbia. She also has three piano performer's diplomas: ARCT (Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music), LTCL (Licentiate of the London Trinity College of England), and A.Mus.(Associate diploma of the Western Board of Music).
Meggie has appeared on TV and in fundraising events as a special guest performer and as a guest speaker on Early Childhood Music Education and Child Development. She has been teaching piano and music theory to children and teenagers for over 13 years. Many of her students have gone on to win awards in competitive music festivals, as well as to receive First Class honours in the Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations. Meggie is also a licensed Kindermusik educator and a certified Orff teacher. She brings to her Kindermusik classes a wealth of knowledge and expertise in early childhood music education!
Besides teaching piano and Kindermusik classes, Meggie is also the conductor and director of the Praises Choir at the Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church in Richmond and an avid ballroom dancer.
Anne Marie Milner M.Ed., B.Mus.
Anne Marie Milner is a band and choral teacher originally from Saint John, New Brunswick. She has taught music in the publich school system for over 20 years. As a trumpet player, Miss Anne Marie has performed with the West Coast Symphony, the Vancouver Community College Jazz Orchestra, and the West Point Grey Community Band. Anne Marie holds a Master's degree in Music Education from UBC. She is a licensed Kindermusik educator and a professional musician who is excited to share her love for music with all the kids in her Kindermusik class!
