We offer private piano lessons and group theory classes to students ages 5 and up of all skill levels. The length of the weekly lesson ranges from 30 to 60 minutes depending on the skill level of the student. Topics covered include building music skills, technique, theory, ear training, as well as sight-reading.

A child's prior experience with music is essential for successful formal piano study. Our Kindermusik classes are excellent for children who are under 5 years of age. Through joyfully participating in music-making activities in our group classes, your child will acquire a fundamental understanding of musical concepts and develop a lifelong love of music necessary for formal music study!
Teaching is tailored to the ability and learning style of the student. Lessons are planned according to the needs and goals of each individual student.
Students are given opportunities to participate in recitals, Royal Conservatory of Music Examinations, and competitions/music festivals throughout the year.
Our studio in Richmond features two pianos: upright Yamaha piano for beginners and Boston grand piano for the more advanced students. We also have a collection of CD recordings and music scores for the students to use at no additional charge.
